Loku ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Loku app.

1. Information We Collect

Loku is designed to minimize data collection. We collect:

Device data: Motion and orientation data (gyroscope/accelerometer) used only for physics simulation within the App. This data is processed locally and not transmitted to our servers.
Photo library access: When you select a photo as a background, we access it only to process contours locally. We do not upload or store your photos.
Content you create: Text and images you input remain on your device. Export files are saved to your photo library under your control.
Tracking (optional): If you consent to App Tracking Transparency (ATT), we may receive an advertising identifier for analytics. You can decline; the App works fully without it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

Provide and improve the App's features (gravity simulation, contour detection, export)
Analyze usage patterns (if you opt in to tracking) to improve the product
Respond to your support or legal inquiries

3. Data Storage and Processing

Loku processes most data locally on your device. Contour extraction, physics simulation, and image generation run on-device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal content. "Today's poster" and similar data are stored only in your device's local storage.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Apple frameworks (e.g., Vision, CoreMotion, Photos, AVFoundation) that operate according to Apple's privacy practices. We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising unless you explicitly consent via ATT.

5. Your Rights

You may:

Withdraw consent for tracking in your device Settings
Revoke photo library access in Settings > Privacy
Delete the App to remove local data
Contact us to request access to or deletion of any data we hold

6. Children's Privacy

Loku is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
